The Thin Film Evaporator is necessary to treat Thermoliable products, slurries with suspended solids or high
viscosity products.
The evaporator distributes the product on the heating wall and due to a high heat transfer
coefficient and very short contact time it maintains stability of
flavour, colour, vitaminic content and polymerization number. The equipment consists of
a heating
jacket with a dynamic rotor inside.
Typical Thermal Film Evaporator's supplied by Ettore Zanon are installed on processes
of Caprolactam plants, Dioxane stripping, Solvent recovery,
and Solvent regeneration.
The biggest film evaporator installed by Ettore Zanon has a surface of 32
sq. m.
A pilot plant equipped to make evaporation tests is available in our workshop.
