Ettore Zanon, has for several years been working closely
with the most important Nuclear Physics Research
Institutes in Europe. The company has
been taking part in the most important Italian and foreign
projects by supplying both its products, and
its technicians who collaborate with the
client in the design and development
stages.
The company is moreover highly specialized in the manufacturing of components for UHV (Ultra High
Vacuum) and therefore it has achieved a great experience in specialized fields such as Cryostats
and RF Cavities for superconducting and non-superconducting applications.

Dipoles for the ring of DESY "HERA Project" in Hamburg
(D)
- The cryostats' prototype for
superconducting Dipoles and the 200 MHz Copper RF cavities for CERN
"LHC Project"

of Niobium superconducting RF resonator cavities for DESY
"TESLA Project"
- The ALPI accelerator
for I.N.F.N. and several others.

We have been manufacturing for years a wide range of special components for JET - Abingdon (UK),
EFDA (UK), KFK in Karsruhe (D), GANIL (F), LANL (Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Messico -
USA), TRIUMF (Toronto Canada), Bessy - berlin (D) and for all the I.N.F.N divisions.
Ettore Zanon owns an Electron Beam welding machine, purchased in joint venture with ENEA -(the
Italian alternative energy Board) which,
when applied to advanced technologies, enables
Ettore Zanon to
consolidate its leading position in the industry market. The Electron Beam machine is normally
used for our own special manufacturing and
also for our customer's activities.
